Aircraft maintenance

Our Ardmore-based maintenance contractor, Aero Technology (‘Aerotech’), maintains all of our aircraft to the highest standards of airworthiness, safety, and reliability.

Aerotech is one of the largest and most reputable aircraft maintenance businesses at Ardmore Airport, servicing the main flying schools, many private aircraft, and the historical ex-military aircraft of the New Zealand Warbirds Association.

All of Aerotech’s Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are CAA-certified to service the light aircraft that we operate. Eagle Flight Training has its own CAA-approved maintenance schedule that ensures every part of every aircraft is thoroughly inspected during every 200 hours of flight time.

And every year, each of our aircraft undergoes an Annual Review of Airworthiness (ARA), which makes sure the aircraft airframe, engine, and propeller logbooks are correct, and all specified maintenance has been completed.
