In the same way you need different classes of licence to operate cars, heavy trucks, and motorcycles, special ‘type ratings’ are required to operate different ‘types’ of aircraft – including multi-engine aircraft.

Practical

Manoeuvres and procedures specific to multi-engine aircraft.

Theory

  • Technical knowledge of multi-engine aircraft systems.

Flight time

5 to 10 hours.

  • Can fly multi-engine aircraft.

Eligibility

  1. Minimum qualification: Private Pilot License.

Vignesh Dhevan

Vignesh started flying with us in late August and will be back home in Singapore for Christmas with a Private Pilot License. Prior to joining Eagle Flight Training Ltd he was an officer with the Singapore Armed Forces but always cherished the dream of becoming a commercial pilot. He has shown a disciplined attitude and keen enthusiasm in his training and hopes to become a part of the prestigious Singapore Airlines. We wish him lots of luck and success in his career!
