Ho Chi Minh City, 17th November 2015 – During the New Zealand Trade Mission in Vietnam, Eagle Flight Training Limited, the Aviation School of New Zealand, signed a General Trading Agreement with Viet Flight Training JSC (BayViet), to join forces in cadet pilot training for Vietnam Airlines and other operators in the South East Asia region.
This cooperation will enable students to get aviation experience from both Vietnam and New Zealand as students will study aviation theory at Viet Flight Training and flight component at Eagle Flight Training.
“The agreement between Eagle Flight Training and BayViet will open an excellent opportunity for Vietnamese students to receive flight training in New Zealand from the leading flight school in the region and become Vietnam Airlines pilots”, says Alexander Zapisetskiy, the Chief Executive of Eagle Flight Training.
Since 2008 Viet Flight Training has been providing quality training for hundreds of Vietnam Airlines pilots.
“The cooperation with BayViet will be another successful story of growing relationships between our nations. It won’t be achievable without active involvement of our Governments encouraging New Zealand businesses to invest in Vietnam and vice versa”, Mr. Zapisetskiy says.
Most students after graduation from Eagle Flight Training, the Aviation School of New Zealand, will be employed by the flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines.
“It is important to say that we have to committed to captain Lien, Chief Executive of BayViet, that all our graduates will meet requirements and standards of Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and Vietnam Airlines”.
